D.J.'s Doctors Appointment

D.J. went to his 2 month check-up yesterday w/ his Pediatrician. He's is 11 lbs, 8 oz, and 23 inches long which puts him in the 25th percentile for his height and weight. Dr. Cyrus said he is very happy w/ him and that he is looking really good. Then, he sent in the "Evil Nurse" to give him his first set of vaccinations. He screamed like nobody's business and almost made me cry. Tylenol is definitely my friend right now (and his too!). My little boy is getting so big already!

Tulsa Zoo

We went to the Tulsa Zoo on Tuesday and it was crazy hot, but we managed to survive it! We went with my mom, grandma, and cousins, Bailey & Sidney! Here are a couple of pictures from my phone....since I forgot my camera!

Daddy took D.J. on the water play mat for the 1st time and he wasn't so sure if he liked it or not so he would just sit there trying not to get his butt all the way down!

"See this fist Daddy!? If you aren't careful... I might have to use it!"

And out comes the tongue! He's just precious!

Tummy Time! D.J.'s neck is getting very strong!

A couple weeks ago, D.J. rolled over for the first time, and on this day I looked down and he was going to town rolling from his belly to his back and back to his belly! Then he got tired and stopped on his side!
